Should We Make Super Traffic Machine Digital?

In response to my welcome gift for new subscribers, i received the following friendly suggestion…

   “Thank you for this Jim. Some very useful and valuable advice here. I was very interested in your Super Traffic Machine product until I found out no digital delivery. I’d be willing to bet you’re losing a lot of business due to this single factor alone. I’m sure you have your reasons but I won’t be ordering because ot it. Just thought you should know. Take care.”

Like i already told William, i’m glad he’s not buying off the first email he gets from me. impulse buyers don’t make good customers of my products.

But more importantly, i wonder, did the Super Traffic Machine’s physical format put YOU off getting the training?

i can’t tell you how many times i’ve got this recommendation from subscribers over the years. and honestly, if i was your typical piece of shit internet gooroo i should’ve listened.

The Super Traffic Machine isn’t a physical product by accident. Nor because it costs us any less or i’m incapable of setting up the technology to deliver it. 

In fact, it is quite the opposite. It costs us significantly more and costs us many, many lost sales.

So why in God’s name would i deliberately do this?

Well, according to industry statistics and my own experience, while digital training programs and books are indeed purchased more readily than physical ones…

buyers RARELY consume them.

Case in point. years ago, you may remember a certain program i released named Communicology 701. i followed the advice of an industry friend and offered the option to pay for it in one shot (instead of just in installments). Well, most people took me up on the more expensive “one shot” price. and ANY marketer would have considered this a giant win.

on the other hand, as far as i was concerned, it was a total bust. within ONE month only 3 people were turning up with semi regularity. the rest of the buyers didn’t bother.

this is a phenomenon i’ve seen time and time again. people buy a product with the intent to eventually consume it, but they never get around to it.

i don’t do this stuff just to make maximum money. i actually care and want to make a difference and help my customers to succeed.

so i made two very important decisions when planning the Super Traffic Machine and they were in YOUR best interest as my student.

FIRST, the product must be physical. People respect tangible books and if they invest into them, they tend to consume them. The physical format makes it easy for you to use the material as a reference and to return to it over and over, jump to a specific page, follow along while working, take notes and so on. People have told us they appreciated the physical format for this reason.

SECOND, the product had to be delivered one component at a time. Not in one shot. No skipping ahead. No paying for it in one go. In fact, we ASK students at the very beginning not to even open a new module until they have completed the previous one.

as i keep reminding you, i come from a family of academics and educators. i consulted them while building this training to ensure it has maximum impact. 

We developed a number of physical elements to the training that help students stay on task, feel motivated, and make forward progress. those elements would not have the same impact in a digital delivery…and certainly no matter what i do i can’t teach you something you won’t consume.

i’m glad i made these decisions because they worked out well.

This course has THE HIGHEST stick rate in the industry. Few people who start the training stop before finishing it. All those who completed it have come back and written personal notes to tell me how revered the books are on their bookshelf, how amazed they are by the sales copy they were able to produce as a result of following my instructions, and how the course has made them competent, better internet entrepreneurs.

so while my choices are not as optimally profitable, i’m not the kind of entrepreneurs for whom money is God. i play the long game, and my priority is to produce better internet marketers.

this is the best mode of delivery to accomplish my goal.

besides, the only reason a physical delivery should discourage someone from buying is if they’re in a rush to have the material in their hands NOW. The only time that matters is if there’s some other product out there that does the same thing with a similar quality, and they can get their materials in your hands faster.

and i HIGHLY doubt that lol.
