Sheesh,
I was kinda angry at
the response I got from yesterday’s email.
In case you missed it,
the focus was on how social marketing, although very hyped up, has not really
been proven effective for commercial purposes.
People were like “OMG!
If General Motors is pulling their Facebook ads, then we should too!”
FUGKIN idiots.
I’ve been saying that
Facebook blows for like EVER.
Now you’re listening?
Because General
Motors, who’ve always been criticized for their wasteful advertising withdrew
their Facebook ads?
I mean, their ad
budget is over 4 billlion dollars annually – and yet they had to be bailed out by
tax payers and their customers and nearly went bankrupt.
I’m talking about you.
For months I’ve gone
on about the benefits of Search-Based marketing over social media for the
small-budget internet startup. And few listened until now.
According to my
clients, I’m the #1 paid traffic guy in the industry.
But even if this isn’t
so, I’ve taken businesses with a $50 monthly ad budget to 10 and 20 thousand
dollar monthly ad budget.
I’ve taken two
companies from zero to million dollar revenue in a matter of months.
So i’m pretty FUGKIN angry.
That when I share with
you guys my genuine advice on what is in YOUR best interests, and where your ad
money is best spent, you still think you know better.
It makes me angrier to
find you think General Motors knows better.
The most wasteful advertiser
known to man, decided not to spend 10 million a year on Facebook ads.
BIIIGGGG WHOOP.
Look, I don’t hate
Facebook.
We even offer social
media marketing services and we have Facebook PPC experts on staff who can
actually manage and turn a profitable campaign for our clients.
But it’s a question of
BEST VALUE FOR AD SPEND.
And your little ad
money isn’t best spent on Facebook.
By Facebook’s OWN admission
in a Wall Street Journal interview, their ad platform is still young and advertisers
don’t know how to use it to get a real return on investment.
comScore said this to defend Facebook (a client of comSore’s): “Marketers who push out viral ads on Fans, who then
share the content with their friends can generate real returns on investment.”
Notice:
“Fans” – you have none.
Not enough to make anything viral anyway.
“Content” – you have
none. You’re friggin allergic to doing anything that involves work.
This isn’t a Facebook
tutorial anyway.
I just want you to
think about what you’re doing.
When the top traffic
guy in the industry tells you that you shouldn’t waste your small traffic budget
on social ads, YOU PAY ATTENTION.
I challenge you to
find a single friend of yours who tells you they CLICK on Facebook ads…
All of my friends say
they click FB ads by accident. And they wonder who the hell clicks on those ads
anyway.
That’s who you’re
wasting your ad money on.
Put your ad budget
into search marketing, where people are looking to spend money. Not friggin “like”
shyt.
Put it somewhere it makes
money.
And once you’ve
decided search marketing is the best place to get traffic, come get the help of
the top traffic service in the world.
We’ll build your
winning campaign for you today:
