That’s what I read on my phone-clock when I woke up!
It was pitch black outside. Lol.
Half an hour later, it was midnight. And the wife and I were on our daily walk.
Honestly, I’m blessed and I think this is the happiest I’ve ever been.
I designed this life. It’s perfect and exactly what I’ve always wanted.
I wake up every day whenever I’m done sleeping. I go to bed whenever I’m tired. I take the day off whenever it suits me. I’m free to work when I feel motivated.
And all I have to do on any given day is write down my thoughts to you in an email and everything stays perfect.
I would love to show you how to do the same. So you can design your life the way that suits you!
Something funny happened today…
Just before going to bed, the little sister of an old friend hit me up on Facebook. She announced she was bored at work. I told her I was thinking about heading to bed (it was 2.30 in the afternoon).
“You’ve been working from home since I was 5!” she retorted with jealousy.
This is true.
I’ve been working online since I was 16.
But I remember years ago when someone said it takes 5 years to master a craft. It depressed me and I insisted to defy the rule.
Years later, I know the rule is true.
Malcom Gladwell in his book, Outliers, says it takes 10,000 hours of intentional practice to become an expert at something.
Yet everyone wants to be an expert overnight.
Publishing ebooks and building a brand and teaching what they don’t know.
This is a myth propagated by people lacking in morals – and it’s wrong for an amateur to “teach” or pretend to be an expert. It really is.
You might think you’re going to be the exception to the rule like I once did.
But it’s not happening.
You have to do the time and put in the work to become a real expert.
When I was doing my first university degree in Mathematics at 16, I practised so much that I memorized common additions, subtractions, divisions, and multi-digit multiplication!
I even could do instant factorization, integration, differentiation, and expansions from memory.
That’s not a skill taught in any book or that anyone taught me. It came from repetition.
Similarly, when I was learning programming at 12, my father decided to hire a tutor to teach me the C programming language. Within weeks, I told him to save his money and cancel the classes.
I learned all I needed from the teacher.
And I knew that anything further I had to learn was going to come with practice.
See, that’s the thing…
A lot of people in this industry keep buying courses trying to find someone who would teach them how to become expert marketers.
But what you might not realize is that after a while, you’ve learned ALL THERE IS TO LEARN.
No more teachers are necessary to give you mastery of traffic or conversion.
That doesn’t mean you stop being a student.
Even after years of Marketing successfully online, I’m STILL a student.
What happens though, is your teacher changes!
At some point, you have to become self-taught.
Life teaches you.
Experience teaches you.
That’s why I made the DIY Super Traffic Machine. Because I know what you need is experience and practice.
