years ago, someone whined on a forum about not being able to afford one of my products.
another guy, who must’ve thought the greedy corporate author had sold enough to be a zillionaire, posted:
“Here you go.”
and to my horror, right beneath…
he linked to a zip!
inside the archive was EVERY video, template, PDF, and bonus inside MY PRODUCT, Traffic KickStart.
little did he know, i’m neither greedy nor corporate. i’m a regular guy who feeds his family by selling his knowledge. and THIS popular product was the result of years of false starts and bad experiences. it was the FIRST info product that I was regularly selling, on which I didn’t have a cut-throat partner to screw me.
you know what the worst part is?
when I searched for my product’s name on Google, the top result was this forum post, giving away my hard work free to anyone who wanted it.
panicked, i got in touch with two different lawyers to see if I could get it taken down. but it turned out my best option was to move on.
if you’re like most people, your first info product will end up being a digital one. it will likely be an eBook, which is even easier to steal. and when you make your product, it’s not gonna be easy, because it’s your first time. and you’re gonna pour your heart and soul into it.
imagine the pain of finally building a product people want…and then watching someone give it away for free instead of you making money from your knowledge and work.
there is actually a decent way to discourage jerks from pirating your product. of course, it’s not 100% foolproof, but it does make it tricky.
start by making your info product a physical one.
it takes someone very motivated to steal and share a physical info product. for one, they’d need to scan every page. but if you’ve got physical materials to go with it too then, it’s a lot harder.
for example, if you sold a “How to build your own robot” eBook, that can easily be copied and shared. a printed book is more complicated.
but what if you sold a “How to build your own robot KIT”, complete with instructions, circuit board, and components…
…it’s impossible to copy the whole kit and still give it away for free!
but to create a product that people wanna steal in the first place?
that requires a re-imagining of your product.
this is what Super Traffic Machine’s Third and Fourth Modules help you with. they’re focused on pitching and finding an IDEAL product your customers would be excited to buy.
and this month’s bonus course, Authority S&H, includes complete instructions for strategising, building, and shipping your own physical info products.
products that YOU control.

and products so good that people WANT to steal.
but you can only get Authority S&H free with a Super Traffic Machine subscription. and it’s only available until the end of the month.
