Last night, I was in an accident.
No body was hurt. No cars were scratched either.
I’ll tell you more in a minute.
But recently, someone who was thinking about buying a traffic campaign from…
http://jimyaghi.com/traffic
…Wrote to one of my friends saying, “I don’t see any testimonials or any of the big clients Jim has worked for – so I have no idea who he is.”
That’s funny.
I intentionally do this – I don’t want customers to pay for our campaigns without knowing who we are first.
And talking about all the big clients we previously worked for and showing off their names gives them a STATUS they don’t really deserve.
After all, they are the ones who hired ME to manage and build their traffic. So in reality, it’s YaghiLabs who is the big-fish with the big results – not them.
Which is why I think the story of my accident will interest you…
See, we were on our way to buy some groceries. Although I was sick as a dog, I needed a little air.
Something you should know about Amman is that it is the WORST places to drive.
People are ANIMALS. Cars stop and park any time and anywhere.
You have to be constantly alert so you can weave around cars that stop without indicating.
One guy decided to stop at a VERY narrow intersection with his car angled outwards. I needed to turn into the narrow one-way road and go around him somehow.
As I maneuvered a 6-point turn, rather than him move forward to make room for me, he put his car in reverse and we brushed each other.
“Park up there on the left. Park up! He instructed.”
I did.
I’m fully insured and his car was a rental, which presumably was also fully insured.
But rather than call the police, he started arguing that if we call the cops I would have to pay a 60 dollar fine. I had no problem paying it, if it really was my fault. I’m a law-abiding citizen and even if the law were to rule against me, I accept that.
He argued and argued. And insisted that it wasn’t worth calling the cops. If I’d just give him 20 bucks we can both be on our way.
Although the solution was obvious – we could both just assume nothing happened (no one was scratched), we could both be on our way. Or we could wait for the cops to arrive and determine fault and let our insurance handle it.
He wanted neither. He wanted me to pay him the cost of a polish because CLEARLY it was my fault. Lol.
Anyway, at one point he introduced himself as ____ AL-QAISI.
Didn’t even hear his first name. But his tribe name he emphasized; like it was the most important word in the language.
Al-Qaisi is a big known well-to-do family in Jordan.
This is common here – if someone belongs to a big tribe, they walk around like they own the WORLD, borrowing the credibility of their tribe in EVERY matter of their lives.
This reminds me of our beloved online entrepreneur who has no identify of his own.
Constantly looking for the bigger more successful fish to steal credibility from.
But little do they know – you can’t BORROW credibility without looking small.
You borrow credibility because you have none of your own.
If you have your own credibility, OTHERS will be borrowing your name, not the other way around.
Otherwise, you look cheap.
Like this Nobody Beggar Scamist Al-Qaisi guy…who rather than becoming more important, he DAMAGED his tribe’s reputation. I gave him $5 and he let the whole thing go. It was all a big scam to beg $5!
This is why we at YaghiLabs don’t really believe in testimonials.
Not saying that we won’t use them from time-to-time, but we don’t hinge our rep on them in every matter of sales.
Anyone who has been on my list long enough has heard directly from the grateful companies we’ve managed traffic for and brought customers in hoards for the lowest price possible.
So if you want testimonials, don’t look for them here:
http://jimyaghi.com/traffic
You’ll only find a no-fluff, “here’s what you get” and “here’s what it costs” presentation.
If you’ve been on my list long enough, you know me and trust me because my team knows their stuff. Real recognize real.
And you’ll get us to build your campaign for you whenever you’ve known YaghiLabs long enough to believe that we are the TOP traffic experts around. Without a doubt.
