while moving into this home, some of our furniture was damaged during the move.
we were still new to Germany and all the services i could find were happy to drive our furniture between homes but were not interested in moving it in and out of their truck.
the old apartment was on the fourth floor of a “charming” old building without an elevator. a friend recommended hiring some young student buddies of his to help.
before they came, i went to the local hardware store and bought some equipment. specifically, i got heavy-duty straps and a stair climber “hand truck”–a hand-pulled trolley with three wheels on each side so it can climb stairs.
when the boys turned up for the move, i was surprised at how scrawny they were.
they refused to use the moving equipment i brought and insisted on lifting everything manually, to my dismay.
of course, this was a bad idea. several items, including our brand new fridge, got a few ugly dings.
yet, the poor boys spent more time and energy than was necessary. all because they thought it “easier” and “quicker” to use ignorant brute force than to actually figure out the tools i got.
unfortunately, many affiliates make this mistake too.
they don’t take the time to figure out the tools they need to succeed in affiliate marketing. and many, when they’re told the right tools, refuse to use them.
why?
because getting a tool comes with a cost, and learning how to use a tool you’ve never used before needs a time investment.
however, once you have a tool and master it, the task becomes nearly effortless.
but beginner affiliates, like the moving boys, think it’s EASIER and CHEAPER to skip the right tools. so instead, they stubbornly look for a “faster” and “easier” way to do affiliate marketing.
which is how they end up as prey for bad actors.
see, bad actors know that beginners are looking for help. they also know beginners believe affiliate marketing to be complicated. so they agitate the beginner’s belief of difficulty to sell what they call a “shortcut”:
their money “system”.
not a business. not a course.
it’s always some kind of “money system” or “loophole”.
of course, the system is not a shortcut at all! instead, it’s a placeholder designed around your belief that you can avoid finding, learning, and using the right tools to build a business.
pure fiction.
affiliate marketing is a type of business. it’s not a money loophole, a hack, or a trick. it’s a BUSINESS.
successful entrepreneurs, before going into any new business ALWAYS educate themselves on it.
they know the only real shortcut is to skip trial and error and find an expert who’s done it before and knows the tools and how to use them. an expert who’s also willing to share this information with others in a book…
…and in enough detail!

educate yourself about your new undertaking, and don’t avoid learning.
