Funny story… I have a quiet, secluded balcony in the rear of my home here in Jordan.
Sometimes my wife and I prefer to eat lunch there.
A few days ago, I created a Fajita masterpiece with a new Sizzler skillet my sister gifted me from Scotland
After setting down our delicious home-made tortillas and the various plates of filling on the table, with the hot skillet sizzling all over the place, I played some romantic Toni Braxton music and sat down to eat with Aya.
The weather was gorgeous. It was sunny with a gentle breeze.
No sooner did we start our first fajita, when we heard…
“Maaaaaa! Maaa! Maaaaaaaaaaa!”
WTF!? My wife said, I think there’s a lost goat.
“No. Ignore it,” I said. “Just eat. It’s probably the Bedouins in the empty lot next door grazing their goats.”
“MAaaaa! Maaaa!” went the lonely goat.
It was a total mood-killer.
Halfway through the spoiled meal, I saw my uncle round the back pulling a goat by a rope.
“Hello!” he waved. “Antar…This is Jim and Aya. They’re our newlyweds. Aya and Jim, this is Antar the Goat. Say hello.”
LOL. What was the Antar the Goat doing there?
My uncle had bought it for his kids to play with. His plan was that when they got bored of Antar, he’d make a lovely roast feast in the earth oven, for the whole family to enjoy haha.
I don’t know if eating the family pet is a great idea. But it’s exactly what Internet Marketers do when they build a list.
