ParticipantI guess it’s a delayed reaction on my part but why do we need to create a custom optin form when the same task can be accomplished in our auto-responder application? Did I miss something? I use Aweber which allows me to use any number of templates or none at all for my optin form. I ask the question only because I don’t understand the benefits of creating a custom form as part of our WP site templates when it can be done quite easily in the auto-responder. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.

ParticipantI was actually thinking the same thing..
I think it is because our sites/brand needs to be unique and not remind people of any other site or theme and i think it’s the same for autoresponders
Plus when you set up your own theme you can add it to the template so it will be the same on all your posts/pages (no thinking or tweaking required unless your segmenting your list)
