This question came across my desk recently, from your fellow subscriber, Luke…
“Does Bing ads direct linking work for Clickbank products?”
What he means by “direct linking” is advertising your naked affiliate tracked URL, without any custom landing page.
The reason you might be interested in the answer to this question is, if in Bing it’s possible, this means you can just find any affiliate offer you like, grab your hoplink, setup a Bing campaign, and in 10-15 mins start getting Pazaaaaaaaaid madafakaahhh!
And you’ll be excited when i tell you, the short answer is: YES!
Yes, you can direct link affiliate offers not only on Bing, but also on Google. Their policies don’t specifically prohibit this.
The longer answer, however, if you didn’t run off in excitement to try it out is…
DO. NOT. DO. IT!
Tracked affiliate links of the same offer live on a domain shared by all its affiliates. Which matters for the following two reasons:
#1: DOUBLE SERVING
On Bing, multiple advertisers running ads to “similar content” is termed as “double serving”. It is against their advertising policy.
On Google too, a similar rule states that two ad accounts cannot advertise the same domain.
Not only that, MANY product creators, in their affiliate agreements, prohibit affiliates from using PPC as a promotion method. The reason is to leave the option open for themselves to run ads on Google and Bing. They don’t want to compete with their affiliates or get banned because of them.
So by direct linking, you risk being suspended by the ad network or the offer’s owner.
If you find a way around the double serving policies and later your account is suspended (or someone else advertising the same domain is), the only chance you have of being reinstated is to get the violating page into compliance.
Good luck fixing a page that lives on someone else’s domain.
Despite what i said there’s a huge chance you’ll get away with direct linking on Bing…
It’s a rubbish search engine with a laughable 6.43% of total search market share.
…they’re not as strict in enforcing their policies, because they’re poor and could use your advertising money.
In fact, if ever you are looking for ad networks where you can “get away” with stuff, use the unpopular losers.
Truth be told, if there’s ONE platform you want to gain mastery of, it should be Google because NOTHING has its reach (it dominates 87% of the search market).
Once you’ve mastered that, you can diversify to other platforms, Bing included. But given the low volume of traffic there, it’s not the place to start.
All this talk of platforms is exhausting.
Only an idiot would try to build a serious business in a platform-dependent way.
Which is why the Super Traffic Machine’s primary focus is on business and traffic conversion, not on some traffic platform. Because if you make money from traffic, your advertising budget is unlimited…
Only the 8th manual goes into Google Ads-specific instructions and only because it’s the most useful skill to master. It gives you access to the highest volume of traffic and certainty of success. The traffic skills you learn are universal and can easily be carried to any other platform you choose. In fact, i use the same principles i teach you, and with them it takes me at most a couple of weeks to dominate any new platform i use.
Alright, enough of the talk. Time for the walk.

In case you were wondering, the 8th manual (294 pages) dedicated to Google Ads, comes with an additional resource manual (230 pages) that discusses most major online advertising types and platforms. The entire course spans approximately 2,750 of comprehensive, detailed, unadulterated step by step instructions.
Just go read about it. Let’s start your real education.
