Some News

Heya,
Been a
while, eh?
Miss me?
Lately, I’ve
been busy with a number of things. Before I get into it, a little news.
These past
few weeks, I’ve been working on a top secret project, code-named BenBot. I won’t
be disclosing any details about it until it’s complete. But here’s a little
hint…
It’s a tool
that automatically gets TONS of real, targeted, free traffic to your site.
I’m
excited, because it’s based on the method that gave me my first major breakthrough
in traffic. And I hope that by making it available to you, you’ll be able to do
the same.
But it won’t
be ready for a few weeks, maybe longer.
I’m racing
against time to get the code complete so we can give it the first beta-test. And
I may allow a few KickStart students to try the beta, because it needs a steady
traffic supply to work.
We’ll see.
Ok.
So the
other thing that’s been taking up my time is preparing Baby Adam’s bedroom.
We’re
expecting him to arrive in about a month.
This week,
we headed to IKEA to grab a few bits and pieces.
To be
honest, I can’t stop marveling at the genius of the IKEA business model. Here’s
what I mean.
After
having spent an entire day at IKEA grabbing what we thought was everything…we
went home and discovered we were missing two pieces.
Aya’s a bit
of a neat-freak, and she didn’t want to deal with half-complete IKEA kits
laying around. So I promised I’d take her again the next day and grab the
missing parts.
Now, I want
you to keep in mind something…
We spent a
fair bit of money on our first visit.
The second
time, I expected to jump in, grab the two pieces and come home. They would’ve
come out to only $50.
But no such
luck.
We spent the
entire evening there…and spent significantly more than I estimated.
Why?
Because
IKEA is setup that way.
There’s
just so many “cool things” you gotta “must have”.
Which
reminds me of this industry you and I are in.
I mean,
every day, there’s a new Shiny, “Must Have” Object. Some new technique. Some
new tool.
And, unlike
many others in this industry, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with these
things being available.
It just
means that things are progressing.
Technology
is getting better.
Businesses
are innovating.
This is a sign
of a healthy, thriving industry.
And as a
student of marketing myself, I have a sportsmanly attitude to sales and
marketing.
I love to
see new promos, I love being sold to (though I don’t necessarily buy)…because it
inspires me. I learn from the promotions of others.
A
sportsmanly attitude to marketing is something I think you too should have, since
you’re also in this online selling world.
You’ll get
inspired and learn plenty.
And along
the way, you might pick up a training program or marketing tool.
If it helps
you do more business, then why the heck not, eh?
Anyway,
that’s all I got for now.
One last
thing…
If you’re
still trying to get more traffic and you haven’t learned my KickStart method…it’s
the best way to get traffic that never ends. Doesn’t matter which industry you’re
in, or how small your niche…there is ALWAYS plenty of traffic to be had.
And
KickStart is the easiest way to get all of it.
