till 90min Website begins. And I’ve been working hard to
prepare the training for you.
working, I discovered a WordPress BUG!
not so much a problem in WordPress, but in the Firefox browser.
It would have been a disaster if i didn’t know how to fix it.
notice the SWEET, crisp fonts used on the 90 Minute Webinar page?
(you can see the fonts in action here http://jimyaghi.com/GooglyWebsite)
I use two CUSTOM fonts.
kind of a big deal.
because it looks good.
the RIGHT font makes text easy to read…and if people visiting your site have an
easy time reading your sales message, they’re more likely to “consume” your entire
So you get paid like a playa.
(btw, there’s a
science to choosing fonts that work together. I’ll teach you how on the Website
Webinar–just a simple way to “cheat” the right font choices without knowing
jack about typography. )
with fonts, is they’re not standard across all devices.
So if you go and build webpages using a non-standard font that looks nice on YOUR computer, it’s gonna look like arse on everyone else’s.
years, all pages on the internet have been stuck using really boring “Web Safe”
Times, Georgia, Tahoma, Arial, and Verdana.
There’s a new technology now that lets us EMBED fonts right into our pages.
This way, even
if visitors don’t have the fonts needed to view your site, the right fonts are automatically
downloaded…and everyone will see your site exactly how you intend.
Friendly Theme (which I’m giving away)…
…it uses this very technology, so you can choose any font you want for your site.
And all your writing will look perfect, exactly how you want, on any device or computer.
THIS is a
unique feature, which I haven’t seen any other themes implement.
Sure, some will USE a pre-set custom
font–but i haven’t seen one that lets you choose your own.
This feature is SO important for web marketers…
Because when you’re selling online, you NEED your text to be more readable, more clear, and easy to
consume….so people will buy.
I mean, a lot of how we sell is done using text.
And if you want to sell effectively, you’re going to want text that’s easy on the eye.
But I digress…
As I was
saying, I discovered a bug in WordPress.
They use a
custom font in their default theme. But it does NOT work on Firefox!
ran into the same
issue last week while working on the Webinar’s sales page,
and after a LOT of digging, I came up with my own work-around.
when I saw WordPress’ talented developers hadn’t figured out a way to make
custom fonts work on Firefox…
Well I dug my heels in and fixed it.
Now, with my Google Friendly Theme, you too
will be able to control the fonts of your sites like a PRO.
will display beautifully on all major web browsers, including Firefox.
Friendly Theme handles all the typography for you. And it will make for you lead
capture pages and sales presentations that get more leads and sell more often.
It’s yours free if you enroll in my Website training.
