Today, I couldn’t get out of bed.
For the past week, I’ve been trying a new sleep-position that’s
meant to help my stiff neck and upper-back–a pain I developed while working on
a 7 part Manual on Web Traffic techniques for you guys. (Needless to say the
manual has been on hold for several months now).
As I look at my desktop clock, it’s nearly 6pm.
I’m sitting here trying to write, while sporting a
ridiculous tension headache that will undoubtedly turn into a migraine soon
enough…Something that happens so often now, it’s “just another day in my life”.
Although I was planning to tell you about the Google Display
Network, I decided instead to ask you a heavy question…
Do you know what it REALLY takes to run an internet business
I’ll just tell you…
Most people trying to make money online, they’re lured in by
how “EASY” it is.
To them, the internet doesn’t follow the rules of the real
The internet teleports them to some magical dream world,
where wishes come true.
But reality is, the internet is no more than a communication
It’s still part of the real world. And it’s still limited by
the same tough rules people have lived by since the beginning of time.
I was thinking about this while watching, “Lucky 7”, a new
You see it? It’s a new one.
The story follows 7 poor average shmucks, wage-labourers,
who work at a gas station.
Dead broke. Hand to mouth.
Every week, they pool together to buy a single lottery
ticket…and every week they hope to win the jackpot. Until one day, when they
The jackpot is huge. $165 million!
Of course, they all leave their job at the gas station and
go off to do their own thing.
What always amazes me with stupid jackpot stories is how
people think their lives are TRANSFORMED forever.
But if you think about it, 165 million isn’t THAT much.
Especially not when you split it 7 ways.
It works out to just under 24 million. And that might seem
like a lot of money to you…but it just isn’t.
I mean, if you had 24 million you’re not gonna buy the
average joe’s dream home for 200,000 or 500,000 or even 1 million.
You’re gonna buy the $10 million dollar home.
And you’re not gonna buy the regular guy’s “dream car” for
200,000…you’re gonna buy several unpronounceable foreign brands.
Before you know it, the “basics” have taken up half your winnings.
Don’t forget now you’re also going to start paying bigger
bills for the house and cars. More taxes. More maintenance.
And your kids aren’t going to be in public schools or even “regular”
private schools any more. They’re gonna go to the top schools in the country.
Your friends and family will expect better gifts from you.
In fact, you’ll turn into a personal ATM for all estranged family
and long-lost friends.
My point is, it won’t be long before your money runs out.
And soon you’re back to your old job.
Because you see, YOU haven’t changed.
And the rule of the world is, you make as much as you’re
Having money doesn’t make you worth more.
It’s the other way around. If you’re worth more, you have
So if you were a petrol pump attendant…or operated a carwash
cash register…or changed oil before you hit the jackpot…
When the jackpot is spent, you’re still the broke FUGK you
You didn’t change. Dull repetitive work is all you were good
for. It’s all you’ll ever be good for.
The Internet doesn’t change what you’re worth either.
It’s just a more efficient communication tool.
An opportunity…but only for people who can find a way to
turn their skills + “efficient communication” into money.
Just because you signed up to some affiliate program…
Or you bought a “make money system”…
Or you threw up a website to sell widgets…
You’re not entitled to automatically get rich.
What personal value do you add?
People will always pay MORE for anything they DON’T KNOW HOW
And they will always pay LESS for things they CAN’T BE BOTHERED
If you want to get the big bucks, you have to:
Learn and keep learning.
Improve your skills …and keep improving.
Work hard and keep working.
And this…this is why, I’m writing to you on a day I could
barely get out of bed.
I write to you and try to educate you, when every part of my
body hurts, every day.
Not because I have nothing better to do. Not because I’m
bored and silly.
But because i know that I will get as much as I give.
Every successful person knows this rule.
Like my friend Doberman Dan, he’s been in this game far
longer than I have. He worked with Gary Halbert when he was alive! His back is literally
so destroyed the doctors can’t explain how he’s even able to walk.
BUT he’s still working on himself, he’s still writing, he’s
That’s what it REALLY takes to make money from home.
Are you willing to do it?
Do you have what it takes?
This is my contribution to the world. I teach people who
need traffic HOW to get traffic. You want traffic to be easy, come learn.
Here’s where you go next:
