Have you ever made a sale online?
Don’t be ashamed.
Many Online Marketers go broke jumping from one program to
the next without making more than a handful of sales.
For all the information online marketers go through–you’d
think they learn.
But unfortunately, the extra information only takes them
down a darker, longer path to nowhere.
Here’s what I mean:
If you’ve ever bought any traffic or sales training, you’ve
probably learned a lot of new jargon words.
Words like CTR, Open Rate, Conversion Rate, Unique Visitor,
and so on.
These words make one appear educated. However, using them
correctly in a sentence doesn’t make one a business expert.
Case in point…
Students often tell me things like,
“After using your KickStart
Method, my ads get a 10% CTR and my CPC is only 0.10 cents!”
If you understood the sentence, you MIGHT be impressed.
But to me, that’s a pointless sentence.
“I’m using your
follow-up formula and the last three emails I sent out got a 35% open rate and
a 50% click-thru”
Again, if you understood it, you could be impressed.
But this too is a pointless sentence.
First, you’re saying nothing about SALES and REVENUE.
The goal of the KickStart training is to help you get customers,
not clicks or opens.
People think these jargon stats they quote are some sort of
milestone; intermediate steps that they have to score “high” on before they
will see a sale.
Kind of like a “progress report” of how far they are from selling
Like, if you get your emails opened by MORE people, then you
should get more sales eventually.
It’s not true.
Some of the best, and most profitable sales emails you’ll ever
write are going to be opened by very few people and the sales link inside will
be clicked by even less.
A great sales email should only appeal to and invite the buyer.
The person who spends money.
And customers are far rarer in a mailing list than tire-kickers
and freebie seekers.
So having a great open rate isn’t a milestone that must be conquered
before you can make a sale. It’s meaningless.
Same is true of the traffic sentence.
The ratio of people who will click your ad because they want
to buy is much smaller than people who will click your ad to just “take a look”.
A great ad should invite only those people most likely to buy.
Having a high CTR ad isn’t an accomplishment toward the
sale. It just means your ad is being clicked by anyone.
Not only were the sentences above useless…
But they tell me the person who said them was most probably
NOT using my KickStart method or follow-up formula correctly.
Traffic KickStart is not a hack, tool, or “money making
It’s a business training that teaches you to buy traffic in
a way that is both cost-effective and profitable.
When you buy traffic, it’s instant anyway. There’s no tricks
But with KickStart there’s only one milestone you have to
