Let me riddle you this…
Say you just built a SWEET landing page. You send traffic into it…and it converts at 5%.
Just days later, the exact SAME landing page is converting hits to leads at 30%…
(I’ll give you the correct answer a little later).
People are obsessed with having the best landing page ever. They spend weeks on it and they split-test and change copy and design more than they change underwear.
And I get it…
When you’re paying for clicks, a good landing page can make the difference between paying $100 a lead and paying only $2.
No wonder there’s even “big shot” marketers who sink so low as to SWIPE (steal & copy) headlines and formats from known copywriters…all because they think they’ll get an edge.
It’s stupid and here’s why.
A landing page doesn’t stand on its own, separate from its offer or its traffic.
Each business creates their landing page specifically for THEIR audience and for THEIR offer.
A good landing page only needs two things:
1. to have a clear OBJECTIVE
what is the primary action you want your visitor to take when they see it?
2. to be INTUITIVE enough.
So visitors have no trouble understanding what you need them to do when they arrive.
That’s really all.
How often the page converts visitors to leads, has LITTLE to do with what it says or how it’s laid out.
It has everything to do with WHO arrives there…
…and the PROMISE made to them before getting there.
In the context of Pay-Per-Click advertising, that’s simply the keywords and ad copy.
If your landing page isn’t converting as well as you’d like and your leads are costing way too much…I suggest you go check on your keywords and ads.
That’s where most people screw up.
But if you get those two things right, then the exact same landing page you have right now can dramatically increase conversion without changing a single word on the page.
That’s not all.
With the Traffic KickStart method, we take it a step further.
You can boost your landing page response WITHOUT even changing your keywords or ads.
I just did it a few days ago.
A new landing page was converting at a humiliating 5% with leads costing as much as $15…
One little tweak later, the SAME landing page (untouched), targeting the SAME keywords (nothing added or deleted), and using the SAME ads…
Converted 57 leads at 30.77%.
What did I do?
KickStart is about doing three things right:
1) Opening up the maximum available traffic, 2) writing ads that guarantee the quality of clicks before you pay for them…and, 3) setting up so the ad network does all the heavy lifting.
You can learn too, if you go here:
You’ll never second-guess your landing page again.
Or your keywords…
Or your ads. 😉
See you inside!
