This guy has little in common with YOU.
But bear with me, because this is how money gets made and
lost on the web.
So I’ve been going back and forth with this client; a savvy
He’s about to launch a pretty sweet website…
And he’s in the very fortunate position of having an advertising
budget of several 10’s of thousands of dollars.
Problem is, he wants to spend it all in 1-2 months and get
lots of traffic so he can make lots of money.
Why is that a problem?
Because the budget, although it’s big…is also very FINITE.
Meaning, he doesn’t have a way to “refill” his ad budget if (or
when) it runs out.
Of course, you might think, yeah but if he’s got lots of
money to advertise with, he can use the sales he makes, to replenish the
But that’s a mistake a LOT of people make.
No one can be sure how long it takes a new business to become
profitable. There’s no point having an optimistic plan for 1-2 months and no
back-up for the rest of the lifetime of the business.
How will his business continue to get funding if the traffic
doesn’t convert to customers as well as he hopes?
If you do have a big advertising budget, that’s GREAT.
But plan to spread it over 12 months.
In the worst case scenario, if you spend 10% of your budget in
the first month and don’t make enough sales, then you have a chance to adjust
That’s a much better position to be in than someone who
spends their ENTIRE budget the first month and then isn’t able to recover it
and now has a $0 advertising budget.
On the other hand, if you’re lucky enough to find you’re in
profit from the first month using only 10% of your budget, then by all means,
go ahead and dump the rest of your budget on all the traffic you can get!
You have a winning profit equation.
I realise, it’s likely that you either have no advertising budget
or a very small one.
But the lesson is still relevant to you.
Because it’s better if you have a $150 “traffic budget” from
your 9-5 job…which you can allocate every month…
…than to have $10,000 budget allocated once.
Here’s all you gotta do with your website:
Allocate a small budget you can spend MONTHLY regardless of
whether you make sales or not.
Then learn my Traffic KickStart method below…it’s perfect
for tiny ad budgets.
Once you use KickStart, traffic flows. There’s no question
Now it’s not a matter of “if” you get traffic …it’s a matter
of whether or not you can afford to keep the traffic ON.
And that’s simple to ensure:
Start selling to your traffic using the Follow-Up Method included
in KickStart…and see if you can recover in sales what you allocated to traffic
If you don’t recover your whole budget, no problem. You didn’t
blow your life-savings, it was some tiny allocation from your paycheck.
Next month, top up your traffic budget, and try again.
Like this, you’re perfecting your ability to sell to traffic
while it’s trickling in at a manageable rate.
Because eventually, the day will come when your tiny budget
is recovered in FULL. And that is the day you have a WINNING PROFIT FORMULA.
Now, you dump traffic into your website like a freakin mad
Because every dollar you spend on traffic is coming back and
