A subscriber wrote in yesterday angry with me.
“Jim,” he said. “I
usually like your emails, but you were way off on this one.”
“You act like the
big boys aren’t throwing money at PPC.”
“To claim that by
using PPC you’re on a level playing field with the big boys is not truthful”
“I’m shocked you
would even suggest such a thing in an email.”
Woah, I said.
Sorry, I have to disagree with your
disagreement my man. Nobody said you’ve gotta BEAT the “big boys” on paid
search to get traffic.
We were talking about Search Engine Optimisation!
You can’t deny the big boys OWN that.
Wikipedia turns up #1 on just about any search you run.
YouTube takes up most of the rest of the spots.
The bigger the site, the more content it has, and the more
it shows up in a larger variety of searches.
Plus, they can always produce WAY more content, faster than you or
I ever could.
They don’t need to do any special Search Engine
Optimisation techniques and back-linking and crap. The sheer volume of content
they produce on a daily basis is so LOUD that they dominate the free search
listings and get all the top positions.
Where does that leave you?
On page 1 zillion? Good luck.
If you wanna do SEO, yeah, you’re gonna need to figure out a
way to beat the big brands.
But with paid search advertising, PPC, you’re not trying to beat anyone.
It’s about YOUR business.
You select the audience you want to reach. And you determine
how much they’re worth to you.
The more you make from them, the more you’re willing to
spend getting them.
And the less they’re worth, the less you want to spend on
That goes for everyone else, including your competition.
I guarantee you, I can go up against Amazon, Ask, and eBay
all at the same time…both of us turning up for the same paid search result…and I
can beat them.
You know why?
Sheeeett….what am i talking about, i AM beating them!
They compete with me on TRAFFIC keywords…what the fugk do
they sell about traffic?
And I’m not trying to get in on their dumb keywords either. Screw
Look, I can afford to buy placement on traffic keywords
because the people who search for that and click MY ads are buyers.
The traffic-keyword searchers who click THEIR ads, tho…
They won’t find anything relevant to buy or even take for free. They’ll hit back and click my ad a few
My man has a point about the big brands with deep pockets flinging
their money at all kinds of traffic (organic, paid, and social). Yah.
But sadly for those big brands, winning with PPC is not about who gets seen most in search.
It’s about who can make the traffic they buy count.
You don’t need to turn up on 50 gajillion searches…you just
care about the 10 or 20 searches that bring you buyers at a profit.
And the thing about my KickStart Method is that it’s very
different from how people have done PPC in the past.
It makes finding those people easy.
We don’t look at competition or really care about it at all. “big boys” don’t inflate our costs…we inflate theirs.
KickStart Method just lays up wins…no competition.
Our clients and our KickStart students have used this method
to generate BUYER LEADS for CENTS in ultra-competitive markets!
That’s what makes it so powerful and what people love …
It’s ALL about Profit.
Connecting YOU with buyers.
Screw useless traffic and optimising “best” ad positions and stupid split-tests and tweaks.
This is simple.
YOU decide how much you can afford to spend to acquire a
buyer. And KickStart makes it happen for you.
Meaning, if you use KickStart properly, you should never
need to spend more than you make.
Isn’t it time you learned the Traffic KickStart Method?
It’s freakin awesome.
Here’s where you learn it today:
See you inside! (Ya big winner).
