Dumb methods. I hope nobody ever uses.”
what I think of the crap marketers are passing off as “social media traffic”
techniques these days.
craziness is jim on about today?
listening to our in-house Traffic guy Ewan speaking on one of the Traffic
modules of the Internet Business Academy.
discussion was Social Engagement.
Engagement is a pre-requisite for Social Media marketing. And to be fair, it’s
not the easiest thing to pull off.
of people reckon the trick to Social Media is to “mass friend” people
from the friends lists of others and be all like,
I noticed we share a lot of the same interests. Let’s be friends!”
sweet! I needed a new friend…NOT.
doesn’t create social engagement. People are on social networks either to speak
with their friends from REAL LIFE…or to get a root with a random hot chick.
if you aren’t a hot chick selling your arse, you’re shyt outta luck.
see all kinds of new tricks come out every day too…just as stupid as this. Most
of them fall into the category of SPAM and they’re annoying and ineffective.
n Mortar businesses with a reputation use these crap methods without
even asking if they make any sense.
But there’s a better way to do Social Media.
Like this technique Ewan used when he contributed an article to the
YaghiLabs website and we all shared it with our buds on Facebook.
The article got loaaaads of attention, comments, likes, etc… and it perked
the interest of our friends…who had NO prior interest in Home Business
But after reading the article they became curious to join our newsletter…
would have been all for nothin’, except for the fact that Ewan made sales to these guys.
who had a MILD interest in setting up a home business…but were a lot more
interested in Soccer. By engaging them, Ewan brought them in.
technique is a powerful one and it’s one I devised and titled, The Story Factory.

find the conversation with Ewan in Module 7.8. But that only scratches the
12 Traffic sections in Module 7 and they discuss how to create Façade with
Social Media, creating Traffic Flow Maps, includes a Traditional Advertising primer, and guidance on how to select the right traffic platform for your business, and loads more.
there’s 8 more amazing modules on every topic related to setting up a business for “automation” on the web!
Whatever you do, don’t just JUMP right to Module 7 just to get the “juice”. It’s not going to be very helpful.
The IBA was designed to be followed from Module 1 – Section 1, in order, all the way down to Module 9. That’s the only way it will actually help you get traffic and sales.
So if you’re planning to jump right to the traffic section, please don’t click.
Otherwise, if you promise to listen to the material in order, then i’ll teach you inside:
