Slick Copywriting that Sells to Internet Creatures?

I woke up laughing!
Only had an hour’s shut-eye…if that.
There was a gray cat in a dream. Kids were watching and laughing
at how it savours a can of tuna. It was adorable. Kitty took her time to
soak the food in, with every sense.
NAUGHTY kids get this GENIUS idea to put out a can
of tuna for kitty and after she had a few minutes to get in the mood,
sniff at it, and smack her lips, they’d set loose a…
Wtf. Right?
I guess they wanted to YouTube the video so the interwebs can laugh
at poor kitty when she was forced to leave the tuna and watch the lion “eat her lunch”.
Naturally, I was curious and stuck around.
Suddenly a ROAR came right behind me and I thought the lion
was about to make a meal out of me instead of the tuna.
No sooner did I hear the roar, when an army of Internet
Prospects inside lit buildings “appeared” smack-center of the alley… from another dimension.
They bought out all
the tuna stock in the country…and then I woke up.
You laugh now. But wait…
Lots of Internet Marketers really think of traffic like
Like Internet Prospects aren’t real humans from the same world as them…
only click, read, or buy if they see something useful to them that will help
them solve real problems in their lives.
They think they’re just some weird electronic creature from some
foreign dimension of the Internet.
Who, if they see a giant red headline that uses words like “How
You Can” and “Literally” and “Instantly” and “Riches” then they will buy on the
spot with mad Internet Dollars.
I’m sad to report this is far-fetched.
On the other end of your web marketing materials is a real
person…who may not be as far away as you think.
They could easily be your neighbor, your brother, or your daughter. They’re NOT from another dimension.
Believe it or not, the fake-sounding “copywriting lingo”
people are so fond of swiping and perfecting…it has AS little effect on your online
Leads as it would on your “closest and dearest” in real life.
It doesn’t make people want to give you their money.
It doesn’t mean you’ve learned to sell.
It just makes people think you’re a douche.
Behind every search keyword, behind every click, behind
every open, behind every “conversion” is a real human being as real as the ones
you live with. And like YOU are instinctively protective of YOUR money (and your tuna), so are they of theirs!
But you don’t have to stay dumb forever.
Selling online is harder than it is in person, but its
advantage is in the NUMBER of people you can reach…even if you fail often.
If you take the Internet Business Academy training and learn
