I think everyone on this planet is super skilled at making
buying decisions. Just hang with the wife for 30 mins and see how many things she
reminds you you’ve gotta buy. Haha… But men are impulsive too, it’s why so
many people are buyers while few are sellers.
On any given day just about everyone makes at least 20 – 50 conscious
and unconscious buying decisions.
Conscious stuff like the stick of gum you get
when you fuel up on the way home. Or unconscious stuff, like every time you
turn on a light or rack up a few miles on the car.
But how many money earning decisions do YOU make daily?
For most people, there’s just one: Going to work.
As a result, most people need to spend more than they earn.
But there’s an easy way to work around this. Money gets
spent in trickles, daily. The logical thing to do is to also create some incoming money-trickles daily to counter the spending.
The big difference between an entrepreneur and a consumer is
that the entrepreneur makes more revenue generating decisions than the average
person. Sometimes all it takes is just ONE extra revenue decision a day and it could
tip the balance against all that day’s buying.
I try to make at least one extra money-generating decision a
day. Even $20 of extra incoming money isn’t a waste of time. After all, we
spend 80% of our income in trickles every day…the mortgage, the rent, the
depreciation of the family car, the bills, etc.
Sure, i agree that making the decision to spend $97 bucks on the HTML webinar is a buying decision.
But if attending the class helps you make just $20 every few
days (not even $100/day = $3,000/month like I suggested yesterday), that’s at
least one bill you’ve relieved yourself from.
