so i’ve been hiding under a rock these past few weeks. i wish you could only know what i’ve gone through haha.
here’s the thing…it’s just that the purpose of a computer is to do whatever you ask it to do. So when your computer doesn’t do what you want, you’re like:
“SCREW YOU! You’re my computer, do your fugkin job!”
That’s how i felt these past few weeks as i ran into obstacle after obstacle with first Apple and their awful business and then Adobe and their bitchass “Air” framework.
Apple pissed me off most… Everything i wanted to do they restricted it with their greed. They do everything like you MUST own apple hardware otherwise you’re a piece of shit.
but in the end i found a way to write an App on my PC that works for both Android devices AND iOS devices.
Not without a lot of headache working out a bunch of stuff with Adobe, Google, Apple, and VMware.
when i say, “working out a bunch of stuff”, i mean i literally had to hack each and every one of them.
But let’s not self-incriminate any more than this…
Suffice it to say, i’ve been programming since i was 9 so in the end i came out on top and conquered them all.
who’s ya boy?
anyway, now that i simplified the whole process, i got a whole bunch of ideas for mobile marketing with Apps.
After all, people these days are spending a lot of time with their iPhones iPads and their Android opponents. can’t deny it.
even my dad has both iPad and iPhone now .. it’s crazy. this is a guy who used to say that he couldn’t bear the nuisance of the house phone let alone having to carry the nuisance around in his pocket (or on his belt as he does).
but after successfully posting a bunch of apps to the Google Play and iTunes App stores, i found that getting your apps downloaded and consumed is so friggin easy.
It’s easier than marketing on the internet these days!
Figures you’d want to do it too…
Those doing it aren’t smarter than you. It’s just they know how to tell their computer what they want, in a language the computer understands.
Besides, wouldn’t you like to learn to reach people on their mobile devices with your business?
Here’s an interesting story…
i’ve been managing a Google Adwords campaign for a client for a few months now and recently i was going over his reports and noticed that he was getting a WHOLE GANG of traffic from tablet devices running full browsers.
And it was cheap as heck with superbly high conversion rates.
on the other hand, mobile devices with limited browsing capabilities were producing a lot of rubbish traffic.
needless to say i killed the mobile devices and focused on the tablets.
seems that’s where all the traffic’s gone these days. and it’s a wide open market – if you want to tap into it, you’re going to have to have a mobile app presence. specifically you need an App that reaches people with tablets like the Samsung Galaxy Note and the iPad.
those are the dominant ones…and people are App Crazy!
Show me someone with a smartphone who hasn’t got hundreds of apps on their phone. It’s quite annoying actually.
So would it be cool if i told you i can teach you how to have an app people download?
Imagine people walking around with your app in their pocket, 24/7?
Don’t worry, i’ll show you.
I decided to hold a 2 hour webinar i call the 90 Minute App where i’ll demonstrate how to build a simple marketing app for your website that you can post to the Google and Apple app stores and reach all those people.
That should be enough to get you started, i reckon.
Admission costs only $97 … which is reasonable. Right?
I’ll hold it Wednesday of next week and will walk you through the process of building your first app.
Your app, when you follow along with me, will compile on both Google Play and iTunes stores, so you won’t have to make separate apps!
**Caution**: This will require programming, but don’t worry it’s simple because i’m going to be using Flash Builder! Flash is perfect for people who aren’t overly technical.
Besides you’ll learn the very valuable skill of programming and you’ll know how to code in the very popular Flex language which Flash Builder uses.
Reserve your seat here:
the webinar will be recorded and sent to you too so you can watch it as many times as you like. but do attend and be prepared to follow along in workshop fashion – because i’ve left over some time for questions.
