“Have you got her running on your own personal timezone?”
That’s my baby sister commenting.
She was responding to an announcement I made on Facebook this morning.
“Nearly 7AM and dinner’s still not ready!”
Granted my baby sister isn’t really a baby anymore (she’s been a mother for at least 5 years) and granted dinner was Roast Beef and was well worth the wait.
But hey, Yaghi Standard Time (YST) has become known around the world. It’s based on biomimicry; a recent field of study first named in 1982.
It’s rather exciting.
Biomimicry is a science that studies nature’s models and then imitates or takes inspiration from these designs and processes to solve human problems.
I was recently watching a show on Bloomberg about innovations based on biomimicry; one Australian man discovered that the Spiral was one of the most efficient refinements of nature. Almost all things in nature move in a spiral.
He used his findings to “freeze” a spiral that filters water for the household using the power of 4 lightbulbs. It saves energy and conserves natural resources.
YST is also based on the Spiral.
It’s very cool.
My timezone “spirals” and shifts its “daytime” hours a little every day.
What’s the positive effect of this?
Even though I sleep very normally, I happen to also APPEAR to be awake at “all hours” of the day.
Regardless of where YOU live in the world, at some point in your daytime, I’m up.
This gives the illusion that I’m extremely hard-working. Many think I don’t sleep!
And yet, I’m able to still enjoy all the daytime activities a person might want to do in their local timezone.
I can be available for a webinar at 3AM at full throttle.
Or a consultation at 12PM, without so much as batting an eye-lid.
And I still get a whole 6 hours of sleep…or 12 if I want.
Daytime, nighttime, any appointment, I can be there.
This is just one of the many tricks i was able to discover because of the freedom I earned when I mastered traffic.
But hey, I have to tell you a little secret.
For the first few years I was a master of traffic, it was nothing more than a novelty.
I could earn as long as I had someone willing to employ my services with a good converting sales process. But I could do nothing at all on my own with just this skill.
It wasn’t until I spent years getting ripped off by “converters” who could sell against the traffic I generated and could turn it into money.
Without this, I could only invest into traffic as far as my budget would stretch…and then I was out on my arse.
I couldn’t build a decent sized list.
I couldn’t get a return on investment.
And as good as I was at traffic, I could never fund “enough” of it alone.
I always dependant on a converter.
Finally, one day, I had enough.
I’d copped a 250,000 dollar loss in a bad partnership–my back was screwed from delivering training. And I was almost out of options.
That day, depressed and lower than any day I had ever been…I decided to master conversion.
For years I’d realized that this skill I was missing was far more important than traffic.
You could always buy traffic or someone who could get it for you–and you’d not need a whole lot of skill. I mean, all a traffic expert can do for you is help you lower your advertising cost.
But it’s a useless thing to lower the cost of traffic when you’re not selling to it and increasing your power to generate more with a bigger budget.
Copywriting wasn’t really my thing either.
I mean, I could get by…
But it was something far more important and easier to do that allowed me to beat even top copywriters…and finally monetize my traffic, get a ROI, build a list worth MILLLIONS of dollars…and create an infinitely large advertising budget allowing me to get as much traffic as I want without maintaining it or worrying about its cost.
This is something I detail in the Super Traffic Machine PDF I’ve been trying to get you to read the past few days.
If you’re interested to know how to convert traffic, then check out Section 7 of the document at the link below:
And hey, consider getting on the YSL timezone, it’s the most efficient timezone known to man and inspired by nature itself haha!
