Been running around the last couple days to get all the legal bits and pieces required to register our new YaghiLabs office in Dubai.
Apparently it’s a bit of an ordeal still, but we’re getting there.
Anyway, Dubai is amazing.
Not only is the internet fast but it’s a wonderful place to live.
The last time I was in Dubai was 7+ years ago.
The streets were congested with traffic. Come Dubai Shopping Festival, all the locals would leave the city to avoid the traffic.
Road works were everywhere.
Buildings were going up in the middle of vast empty desert.
Just 7 years later, entire cities have been erected – shopping complexes, residential compounds, apartment buildings, and new road infrastructure everywhere you look.
Most of the city was built by the same company.
But the most fascinating thing I observed is the way traffic is being handled and how similar it is to how we and our clients sell so effectively.
Streams of cars travel at high speed from one end of town to another – but every few kilometers, the highway splits and drivers are given the choice:
Either continue on the same road until the next split…
Or “get off” to another highway.
The way it was planned allows traffic to segment itself multiple times to make it efficient.
Once someone chooses to split from the road, a giant mid-road wall prevents them from changing course.
Straight-flowing traffic is uninterrupted for 10’s of kilometers.
Just like a filter. Any time someone decides to break from the default flow, they’re filtered into a new group who may have MORE choices and further splits in their highway until only the smallest trickles of cars remain on the least popular routes.
This two-option structure is called a “binary structure”.
On computers, binary decision trees are the most efficient data-structure used in processing, sorting, and searching large volumes of data.
Similarly, in life, in roads, in queues, it’s the most efficient decision structure known to man.
No wonder, the most methodical businesses use binary in all their marketing.
Rather than give 5 or 10 or 20 options to a guest of your site to choose from…you only give two at a time.
All traffic can visit a website.
But at each juncture in the sales process, a two-option (binary) decision has to be made. Do you like to continue or no?
Do you want to register for our mailing list or browse our website?
If you choose to register, then the question becomes, “Do you want to buy our primary product or not?”
If you choose to buy, the question becomes “Do you want to have ‘fries’ with that or no?” (fries being the secondary product of course).
And so on.
Each time a customer answers yes, they are further segmented and sold on more decisions until the business has maximized the value they provide that customer.
It’s a really simple yet powerful decision structure used to efficiently sell to as many customers as possible as many related things as possible.
So if you’re struggling to market and sell your products, then all you have to do is learn to segment your website visitors into groups of:
Buyers and non-buyers.
Buyers and better buyers.
Better buyers and even better buyers.
When people come to YaghiLabs for traffic, we get it for them FAST. But it’s all for nothing unless they can sell to that newly found traffic.
That’s something we understand well.
And it’s why you really NEED to hire us…Not only are we interested in fetching you hoards of traffic, but we care about HOW you will make money from selling to it.
So your choice is clear:
…Do you want to have traffic you can sell to?
If yes, then click…
…Or if no, then gamble on doing it alone. … You run the very real risk of having no traffic. Or worse, you might have traffic you pay for but can’t sell to.
Let us take care of all your traffic and sales needs.
