Ever heard of a “plugin
It’s a derogatory term
one of my staff members has for people who have a GAZILLION plugins installed
on their wordpress websites.
Wordpress can be a convenient
Content Management platform, when used correctly.
It allows regular,
non-techy folks to create beautiful websites in MINUTES.
We’ve come a long way
since the days of static HTML websites. When if you wanted a standardized look
and feel for all your business pages, you had to program them one page at a time.
When we used to have
to create and modify navigation for every page we built.
When we had to
Now with WordPress,
regular people can have a website with a consistent theme without touching a
single line of code.
Adding content is as
simple as typing it into a word processing interface.
Changing the look of
your site is as simple as finding a theme you like and enabling it on your
Including new features
is as simple as finding a plugin you like and hitting a button to install it to
I mean, it’s really
But people’s lack of technical
savvy is opening them up to all sorts of security holes, viruses, and MAJOR lag
at their site.
I particularly hate
They think it ESSENTIAL
to install like 80 plugins with every website they make.
This makes a website
SLOW and prone to errors.
One of the major
issues we’ve been having though is that with all these different custom and
paid themes that are supposed to give people more and more flexibility without coding,
we have a hard time doing some of the SIMPLEST tasks on client websites.
Like adding TRACKING
for paid traffic.
This is SO crucial I would
NEVER turn on a traffic campaign without a way to track the results.
Tracking tells us
which ads and keywords are most productive in getting sales or leads.
Tracking SAVES you money and helps you MAKE more money from your ads.
Normally it would be a
SIMPLE matter of adding the code provided by the Ad Platform into the Thank You
page of the website.
But with all these
themes, I’ve banged my head against the wall as I tried to install tracking for
different clients. Each implementation is different.
In some themes it’s
easy. In others it’s REALLY difficult!
Worse, some themes MAY
have a tracking feature…but they’re SO BULKY and they consume so much
processing power that it slows down a website to use them.
So finally, I came up
with a fabulous solution.
a tiny light plugin that adds tracking code to ANY theme.
One of my strengths as
a coder is my minimalism. I build code that runs efficiently and quickly on any
machine, while consuming the least resources.
This is a skill few of
even the most expert programmers have. Most write code like they have all the
bandwidth and processing power in the world, because it’s easier that way.
I program like I’m
working with the slowest connections on the oldest machines.
My Conversion Tracking
plugin, once installed to a WordPress website, is simple to use.
You select your Thank
You page(s), paste the tracking code into the settings, and turning on your
But there’s only ONE
way to get my plugin.
And it’s to get a full
campaign build as part of a Done-For-You Traffic Campaign!

DFYT at the link above.
The plugin is a bonus I’m
throwing in for all our clients. It’s so new, I haven’t even had a chance to
update the sales page to say it’s included.
If you’re an existing
or past client, please email our client liaison Karen (email@example.com) and ask her for the
plugin. She’ll send you a copy of it.
Otherwise, if you
haven’t bought a Traffic Campaign from YaghiLabs, there’s no better time than
This new barebones
plugin is just another good reason to get a Done-For-You Traffic campaign today!
