Like i promised, i’m not going to remind you about our Eid Special discount expiring later today.
Instead, i wanna talk about people who have been banned from Google.
Because we got a bunch of subscribers writing in to ask if we can still help them with traffic if they’d been banned from Google Adwords.
Yeah we can.
But not because we have some secret anti-Google magic. Although we do.
The reason is that we build campaigns on Microsoft Adcenter and not Google.
However, let’s talk about Google for a moment.
Because recently our resident Adwords specialist here Richard was working on getting a traffic retainership client of ours back on Google (yeah we’re badass – we can do that shyt!) and he heard some disturbing news for affiliates.
The Google reps told us that if an account is suspended from Google, we just have to remove the reason for the suspension and show the issue has been resolved.
But the REAL issue happens when an AFFILIATE gets banned because of referencing the affiliate publisher’s website when that website is in violation.
Because since the affiliate doesn’t OWN the site, he/she has NO CONTROL over it.
So the reason for the violation that got them suspended from Google in the first place will always exist (even if all the ads are deleted and never referenced again)…
… unless the affiliate can twist the arm of the publisher to fix up their site and make it Google compliant.
Otherwise, the affiliate remains banned forever.
Now let me tell you something boys and girls…
and this is a super dooper important lesson:
These Gooroo types who are publishers of affiliate programs…they’re arseholes.
They are CONSTANTLY knocking on my door asking me to help them get back on Google.
But as soon as i explain to them what needs to be done to make their websites compliant, they SCRAM.
Because their entire product, frame, and sales pitch angle is COMPLETELY IN VIOLATION of all the major ad network’s rules.
They believe if they clean up their act, they’ll never convert a thing.
(probably true too, cause when all the lies are gone, there’s nothing left)
So can you imagine how desperate a Gooroo must be for traffic to come begging me to get them back on Google, time and time and time again?
And yet, they are not prepared to make the changes necessary to get their own websites back on Google.
So when some puny little no-body affiliate who drove traffic for all of 30 seconds on Google Adwords 4 years ago before getting banned…when someone like that comes along and asks Gooroo System Owner to “fix” their website so that Google will re-instate the affiliate’s account…
…Do you think the Gooroos will listen to this little tiny nobody affiliate? (who probably already quit the system years ago too)
Which is why, my little boys and girls, we must be very careful in future if we value the websites that can give us traffic like Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo…
To never, ever, ever advertise an affiliate link as a destination URL.
And to never ever use a mask, redirect, or bridge, or even put the affiliate URL as the thank you page of our optin squeeze page.
Because if that publisher fugks up, the only way you’re ever getting re-instated is if you can get your Gooroo publisher to fix their screw up.
Otherwise you’re doomed to have NO TRAFFIC forever.
Even if you decide to switch to a more “legitimate” business later on.
And trust me, ain’t no worthwhile “easy” traffic out there if you get kicked off all the paid networks…like Mr. Big Ears. you know who i’m talking about 😉
If you’ve lost Google – it sucks.
But if you lose Microsoft too – you may as well go back to school and get a new degree.
Oh and look…no sales pitch call to action cause i’m not reminding you about the discount sales page i want you to forget is about to expire.
