Gosh it’s horrible when you go 48+ hours without sleep and then have to go through the inevitable ‘sleep-catchup’ mode.
Seems like the body is programmed to only sleep 8 hours at a time, so even if you’re dog tired, you end up depressed until you take back the lost hours, 1 or 2 hours a day at a time.
Anyway, hopefully I’m back to normal by tomorrow and that this message finds you in good health, because it contains some GREAT NEWS for you if you NEED traffic.
I’m often asked about the effectiveness of Microsoft Adcenter as opposed to Google Adwords.
And it’s a legitimate question…
Knowing that Google has like 60% of the search-market share … and that Bing only gets about 30% total.
For my own traffic needs, I get traffic from EVERYWHERE. And even though I successfully advertise on Google, a big part of my search-marketing efforts is Bing.
Bing has a number of important sources of traffic:
Eg, they are partnered with the old Yahoo! Search network. Plus Facebook, a number of mobile providers, operating systems, and sponsored link “partners” similar to the Adsense program.
So yes, the traffic is there and it should NEVER be ignored.
But people often question me about the “quality” of traffic from Bing versus Google.
To which I’ve often claimed I’ve never had issues with conversions. It all seems the same to me.
For a time, I suspected it was just the nature of the business I promote.
Recently, however, we’ve started offering an extended support program for our DFYT clients. Not only do we setup their Adcenter campaigns, but for a small <$100/month fee, we even manage the campaign we build for them, all the way to profit.
And we've just got back some of our first experiment results.
Check this out: For one client, after only 2 days, we had generated successfully a small handful of leads for under $1.

Typically, a phone-call after a lead qualifies themselves in this way converts as high as 90% for a low-cost offer. Admittedly, we haven't called any of the leads for the client (YET!).
All the same, this client, using a Microsoft Adcenter campaign we built her, with NO maintenance steps taken whatsoever, can begin to recover her ad spend WITH profit right out the gate!
