People weep & gnash their teeth over unsubscribes.
I can’t figure out why, either.
Unsubscribes are GOOD.
They save AND make you money.
Well, first off, it costs money to have names in your database. Some auto-responder companies are more expensive than others. But all of them will start racking up the $$ on your righteous self when you reach a certain point. So too many people on your list who never buy (and have no intention of buying) cost you money.
You thought the Internet was free?
Anyway, if there’s a reason to mail daily, it’s to prompt non-prospects to unsubscribe themselves. It’ll save you money. And, as a smart entrepreneur named Ben (Franklin) said:
“A penny saved,
is a penny earned”
Mailing daily also nabs you more sales.
(If you do it right.)
So not only do you keep your list scrubbed clean of non-prospects, but you’ll also make more sales.
So bring on the unsubscribes!
The more the merrier.
Plus, here’s something else to think about:
When you get good at this, you’ll be amused watching the same people come and go from your list — they subscribe, unsubscribe… subscribe, unsubscribe… over and over and over…
And it’s all good, too.
They’re like my “prodigal” children.
I don’t punish them for unsubscribing.
(Hey, everyone makes mistakes…)
Instead, I welcome them back.
And many times they end up buying.
So mail daily.
Your bank account will love you for it.
